The AddIn for Outlook (starting from Outlook 2000 / not Outlook Express ) allows within the browser interface with two switches to create and unpack so-called SME files (Secure Message Envelope = Signing and encrypting in one step) .

The SME- format protect your data from unauthorized access and only the holder of the corresponding private keys can open the email and read again .
In addition, a simple interface for creating the encrypted e-mails will be offered. The text and the facilities are first encrypted and digitally signed with your certificate . Then the created SME files to your email program forwarded ( MAPI ) and can be shipped there easily .
